tHE PROCESS OF YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE
step 1: the pre-session consult
We will go over your entire boudoir experience from start to finish. We'll ask you questions about your preferences, get to know your personality, set up a date, talk about how to prep for your session, go over wardrobe options, and address any questions you may have.
step 2: the experience
It’s time to rock your session! All you have to do is show up and have fun! You will receive pro hair and makeup services, choose wardrobe pieces to wear, and receive expert posing guidance throughout your session. We will hold your hand every step of the way. You will feel like you’re ready to conquer the world by the time your session ends!
step 3: the reveal
This is the best part! About a week or two after your session, we will meet again and you will get to see your beautiful edited images for the first time. We will present a slideshow of your images and help you select your favorites and choose which products will work best for you to remember this amazing experience.

My boudoir shoot with Jenn was the most amazing experience! I’m 5’8”, 270 pounds, and wear a plus size 20. I didn’t think that my body type would work and was really nervous. Jenn is an award-winning and internationally published fine art boudoir photographer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Voted the top boudoir and portrait photographer in Pacifica, CA, and with over 10 years of experience in the industry, Jenn offers skillfully composed and emotive boudoir portraits of women and couples. Her passion for creating beautiful artistic imagery radiates through her work, resulting in images that inspire self-love and confidence in her clients.
Boudoir is a vulnerable experience. It is completely normal to be nervous! Know that I am here for you to hold your hand throughout the entire process. I will guide you every step of the way from your pre-session consultation, to choosing your outfits, all the way to posing your body down to your fingers and toes and evoking emotional facial and body language during your session.
My favorite part of my day is snuggling up with both of my kiddos and spending quality time with my husband. I work hard and love what I do! Baking and walking by the beach with my family makes my heart happy.

I’m so nervous…I’m not a model!!
You’re in luck! These ladies are just like you (normal people) who didn’t know how to pose their bodies or show their emotions through their facial expressions. They had parts of their body they wanted to hide and insecurities they’d held onto for years. But you know what? During their session, they began to see a different side to themselves and gained more confidence in their curves. They realized they are beautiful just the way they are and they EMBRACED it! And afterward? They were pretty much the rock star version of the woman that walked through the door.
how far in advance should I book my shoot?
Ideally, you need to book your session at least a month in advance of needing a finished product. Your photo reveal appointment will be approximately two weeks after your boudoir photo session, and your finished product will arrive between two and three weeks after that (depending upon turnaround times from the vendors). It's never too early to book your boudoir session to ensure you have an amazing experience!
where does the boudoir session take place?
If local to the San Francisco Bay Area, your boudoir session can take place in your home or we can rent a studio, hotel, or Airbnb when you cover the rental fee. I have multiple wall tapestries, sheer curtains, a blow-up mattress, and more that I bring to sessions to give your photos a unique look. While you’re getting pampered with hair and makeup, I am like a magician in the shooting space, transforming it and making it look even more fabulous and boudoir ready.

what should I do to prepare for my boudoir session?
Once you book your boudoir session, the exciting part of the experience begins! You will be sent a thorough prep guide, filled with tons of tips and tricks to help you rock your session! Things are laid out simply and efficiently so you know exactly what you need to do a week or two before your shoot, all the way down to the morning of. We will start a Pinterest board together, which will be like our vision board for your shoot. And of course we will plan what you will wear and go over expectations for the session itself.
what kind of products do you offer?
I provide my clients with luxurious heirloom albums, museum-quality canvas, stunning metal prints, gorgeous image folio boxes, and high-resolution digital images. For those who do pre-payment plans, you can receive a viewfinder with a handful of your images, an acrylic block of a favorite image, and so much more!
What is the investment for my boudoir experience?
Your boudoir experience starts at $500. That includes the photo shoot with Jenn, a pre-shoot consultation, wardrobe guidance, professional hair and makeup, three to five outfits, access to the client closet, professional modeling direction, professional image retouching, and editing, and an image reveal and ordering session. At your ordering session, you'll get to see all of your gorgeous images and will be able to order products from premade collections or from the a la carte menu. There is NO minimum order. We only want you to buy what you love. Collections are put together with great care, based on the highest quality standards, client demand, and product availability.
